The Yamashita Egi-OH Search 3.5 is the new generation squid jig designed for eging (squid fishing), developed to target the most aggressive and active squid even in challenging conditions. An advanced evolution of the famous Egi-OH series, this lure combines cutting-edge technologies such as Neon Bright, Rattle Sound System, and Strobe Fin, delivering superior performance both during sinking and retrieve.

Thanks to its completely redesigned body, the Egi-OH Search offers enhanced underwater visibility, more responsive action, and increased attraction power—making it ideal for both recreational and experienced anglers seeking consistent results.

Innovative Design and Maximum Reflectivity

The jig features flat sides and a wide reflective surface, available in multiple UV color patterns. This structure creates intense flashes during both descent and retrieve, perfectly imitating a fleeing baitfish and attracting squid from long distances.

On the top section, the integrated Strobe Fin works together with the flat body to generate a unique strobe light effect, strongly stimulating the squid’s visual senses.

Internal Rattle and Optimized Sink Rate

Inside the lure is a built-in rattle operating at approximately 600 Hz, a frequency easily detected by squid and designed to increase strikes even in murky water or low-visibility conditions.

The sink rate has been fine-tuned for a slightly faster fall (2.8 sec/m), making the Yamashita Egi-OH Search especially effective for aggressive squid chasing fast-moving prey.

Neon Bright UV Technology

The exclusive Neon Bright system allows the jig to emit next-generation ultraviolet light, based on the primary light wavelengths: red, green, and blue.
